Insight into the successful collaboration with Deka

Client statement on the collaboration

“We wanted to create a comprehensible approach to the topic of retirement provision for our learners from the very beginning – FKC quickly understood our ideas and implemented them convincingly for us.”

Client description

Deka is the securities house of the German Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. As a central service provider, it operates asset management and banking business across five areas: securities, real estate, services, capital markets, and financing.

Description of the project

The aim of the 30-minute WBT is to give Sparkassen employees a first impression and overview of the new Deka retirement provision solution, Deka-FutureFlex, and how it works.

Challenges in the project

One challenge in the project was the dual function of the training as a stand-alone learning option and as preparation for an optional, in-depth face-to-face training.

Unique aspects of the project

The distinctive visual style of the e-learning is based on the key visual for Deka-FutureFlex. The interactive training integrates a digital scrapbook that offers insights into the life of Lilly B. Styles. By exploring the positive experiences and moments from the protagonist’s life, learners simultaneously discover everything about the financial product Deka-FutureFlex in a playful way and learn how it can be a valuable building block for retirement provision.

Examples from the learning offerings

A scrapbook forms the basis of the training. On the various pages of the album, learners discover more about the key experiences and moments in the protagonist’s life while simultaneously learning everything about the financial product.

Interactive elements, such as this drag-and-drop task, encourage learners to think and promote knowledge transfer in the e-learning.
